The TerraWeigh belt scale consists of two 54” heavy duty side frames, two adjustable load cell brackets and one 5” center idler. The simplicity of the design allows the TerraWeigh to compensate for any belt width, idler spacing or idler diameter. It adjusts for height from center roll to the frame. NO modifications to the existing conveyor are necessary. |
Installation of the TerraWeigh belt scale is quick and easy. TerraWeigh is mounted between two idlers and can be installed in a few minutes using only a pocket screw driver. Just as quickly, it can be moved to another location for spot checking conveyors.
Calibration is simple and efficient. Only the distance between the two idlers on either side of the TerraWeigh unit and one known calibration weight are required to calibrate the TerraWeigh. The control unit does the rest.

The TerraWeigh control unit incorporates an industry standard microprocessor that has native load-cell inputs for connecting the TerraWeigh frame directly to this unit. Additional signal-conditioning devices are not required. This unit offers several communication options for integrating this device unto your plant. A discrete tons counter is included in the basic model. Optional features are a 4-20ma tons per hour indicator and an Ethernet port that can be used to monitor the scale using a Web browser on your network. Also optional is the ability to display three scale frames on one control unit. The TerraWeigh control unit is mounted in a Nema 4 fiberglass enclosures.
